Tando Adam (Urdu: ٹنڈو آدم; Sindhi: ٽنڊو آدم) is a city in Sindh, Pakistan. Formerly part of Nawab Shah district (now Shaheed Benazir Abad District) until 1955, it later became a part of Sanghar District. As the 57th largest city in Pakistan, Tando Adam was founded by Mir Adam Khan Mari, with the word "Tando" meaning "cantonment" in Balochi. The town is renowned for its industries and agriculture production, with key crops including sugarcane, wheat, cotton, bananas, and mangoes. According to the 2017 census, it is the most populous city in Sanghar District, with a population of 152,025.[6]
