Salihorsk or Soligorsk (Belarusian: Салігорск, .mw-parser-output .IPA-label-small{font-size:85%}.mw-parser-output .references .IPA-label-small,.mw-parser-output .infobox .IPA-label-small,.mw-parser-output .navbox .IPA-label-small{font-size:100%}IPA: [salʲiˈɣorsk]; Russian: Солигорск, IPA: [səlʲɪˈɡorsk]) is a city in Minsk Region, Belarus. It serves as the administrative center of Salihorsk District.[1] As of 2024, it has a population of 97,818.[1] The city is one of the country's newest settlements; its construction began in 1958. In May 1963 Soligorsk gained city status, and by January 1964, the city already had more than 18,000 inhabitants.
