Ongole

Ongole is a city in Prakasam district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is the headquarters of Prakasam district.[5][6] It is famous for Ongole cattle, an indigenous breed of oxen.[7] Prakasam district is named in honour of Tanguturi Prakasam, freedom fighter and the first chief minister of Andhra state. It was formerly called Ongole district.
