Masjed Soleyman

Masjed Soleyman (Persian: مسجد سلیمان), also Romanized as Masjedsoleimān, Masjed-e Soleymān, Masjed Soleiman, and Masjid-i-Sulaiman,[3] is a city in the Central District of Masjed Soleyman County, Khuzestan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district.[4] At the 2006 National Census, its population was 106,121 in 22,393 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 103,369 people in 24,577 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 100,497 people in 26,502 households.[2]
