Malayer

Malayer (Persian: ملایر, romanized: Malāyer), formerly Dowlatabad (دولت‌آباد, Doulatābād), also Romanized as Dowlatābād and Daūlatābād,[3] is a city in the Central District of Malayer County, Hamadan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district.[4] At the 2006 National Census, its population was 153,748 in 40,750 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 159,848 people in 46,939 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 170,237 people in 52,697 households.[2]
