Kidapawan, officially the City of Kidapawan (Cebuano: Dakbayan sa Kidapawan; Hiligaynon: Dakbanwa sang Kidapawan; Maguindanaon: Kuta nu Kidapawan, Jawi: كوت نو كيدڤاون; Obo Monuvu: Ingod to Kidapawan; Filipino: Lungsod ng Kidapawan), is a 3rd class component city and capital of the province of Cotabato, Philippines. According to the 2020 Census, it has a population of 160,791 people.[4] It is located at the foot of Mount Apo, the country's highest mountain.
