Bandar-e Mahshahr

Bandar-e Mahshahr[a] (Persian: بندرماهشهر),[3] is a city in the Central District of Mahshahr County, Khuzestan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district.[4] At the 2006 National Census, its population was 109,927 in 24,110 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 153,778 people in 38,301 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 162,797 people in 45,208 households.[2]
