Nice spot for Mexican food! Loved the food. The portion size and good and so is the taste. Many options to chose from in the menu. Drinks are great too. Service was nice and host was lovely. However make sure you book the table in advance as it gets busy. Loved the fact that they serve unlimited chips with your guacamole 🥑

One of the best breakfast I've had, the eggs were perfectly cooked, a wonderfully large portion of hollandaise sauce, and wonderful flavour, nice size, well priced, and delicious coffee. Nice decor, and relaxed atmosphere. Not somewhere tp go when your in a rush but nice if you have time to have a lazy breakfast. Definitely recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Riddle & Finns, a seafood restaurant in Brighton. I was immediately impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant is located in a beautiful old building, and the interior is decorated in a stylish yet relaxed way. The menu features a wide variety of seafood dishes, all of which are made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. The service at Riddle & Finns was excellent. The manager was very knowledgeable about the menu, and he was happy to make recommendations. I would like to give a special mention to the manager and staff at Riddle & Finns. They were all very friendly and attentive, and they made sure that we had a great dining experience. The manager even came over to our table to introduce himself and to see how our meal was going. This level of personal attention is rare, and it really made our meal special. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience at Riddle & Finns. The food was excellent, the service was outstanding.

While being seated in a nearly empty restaurant they had to sit us right next to other guests which was a bit annoying however the botanist room decor was very pretty and it was all very clean (including the toilets). Service was quick and friendly, menu had plenty of options for everyone and they allowed me to remove the chillis from my pasta. While there were a couple of classic dishes like the curry/ the pasta was new and interesting. While certainly not the tastiest dish- it was warm, comforting and the fried capers on top were delicious. However I would say it was a bit on the expensive side and probably wouldn’t come back for that meal but would definitely try something else.

I recently dined at Pho restaurant and had an incredible experience. The food was exceptional, especially their gluten-free options. The flavors were rich and authentic, and the portions were generous. But what made my visit truly memorable was our waiter, Francesco. He provided exceptional service, going above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. His knowledge of the menu and willingness to accommodate dietary restrictions was impressive. I highly recommend Pho for their great food and outstanding service.

Not at all what I expected. I booked online and requested a bottle of champagne to be ready for me and my partner upon arrival, however this didn't come until about 20 minutes later. The whole point of the champagne was to be a special surprise and set the mood, so we sent it back at this point. We noticed the young server bring the wrong dish to several tables so weren't at all surprised when we were brought haricot vert opposed to the petis pois we ordered. They did give this to us 'on the house' but having something on the house that you didn't order because you didn't want it is slightly redundant. The atmosphere wasn't ideal. The place was half empty with the only soundtrack screaming children. It also seemed significantly under staffed with only 3 people working on a Friday night, it took at least 15 minutes for the head server to come over and explain the menu to us. Not at all what I expected from a restaurant of this price. The food itself received mixed reviews from my partner and I. Everything was delicious bar the fishcake I ordered, which was under seasoned and dry even when accompanied with the sorrel sauce. The fougasse, french onion soup, fillet steak, and petit pois were all delicious so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. If I could give 4.5 stars for the food, I would. Overall I wouldn't return to this restaurant, nor would I recommend it. I think it's rather dated, and cannot compete with other Brighton spots of the same price on atmosphere, service, or food. Upon reflection, (and reading other reviews here), I wonder why I even booked here and think I relied far too much on an assumption that a restaurant charging this much would be a decent restaurant, however Bistro du Vin has proved this is far from the truth.

Overall, the food was OK. Some of the food hit the right spot, some did not. Service was good. Snack beetroot - The beetroot overpowers everything else, a bit of apple taste towards the end Duck prune - Duck was very tasty Cauliflower soup - The truffle is quite overpowering, although the soup is quite smooth. Bread and butter - Homemade, very moist and melts in your mouth Asparagus - cooked really well, tortellini melts in your mouth and a burst of flavour comes out. The asparagus at the bottom absorbing all the juice very succulent. Octopus - very tasty, mix of carrots and octopus and coriander works really well Cod - Lemon miso was too overpowering and bitter, be very sparing with tasting it with the cod or mussels. Cod melts in your mouth Lamb - Slightly chewy, potato and turnip was very nice. Haggis was a good surprise and a flavour bomb. Rhubarb was nice, the ice cream was a tad too sweet Chocolate made of whey didn't work in my opinion, the taste was off. The ice cream was nice

We visted the Olive Grove on a overnight stay in Brighton, the weather was less than perfect but we found this hidden gem in the lanes. The sirlion was amazing and the lamb chops were delightful they were both cooked to perfection, the guest dessert was beautiful. Staff were warm and friendly and were attentive without being too much. Would most definitely recommend and will most definitelybe back if we are this way again.

First time visit and hugely impressed. It’s recently reopened having moved from the seafront to the Lanes (next to Bath Arms). Quirky deco and dim (but not too dim) lighting gave a great atmosphere. Very friendly staff and delicious, somewhat unusual food. My starter, a fried cheese affair, was probably the best starter I’ve ever tasted, so many different flavours and textures, very skilfully designed. Will definitely return.

Wow what a restaurant, I’m surprised it wasn’t full. We came here because we were specifically looking for a beef wellington. And we were not disappointed. Thee beef wellington takes 30 mins to cook but it’s worth the wait, the portion size too is amazing. The house bouillabaisse was delicious , again massive portion size, with the most flavourful and unique garlic bread. It was almost like rye bread (but good rye bread!). The sea bass, once again massive! However all the taste was lovely and everything I wouldn’t order again. The amount of butter that it was swimming in was just a bit nauseating to eat, let alone difficult not to spill. It definitely did not require that amount of butter on my plate. You had to be there to see it but it was ridiculously lots to the point it was a joke. The surf n turf was perfect with the chunkiest of chips! I’m always a bit specific when choosing where to eat because I value interiors as much as food and the photos didn’t put much hope in me . But these photos are so inaccurate. The interior is divine. Hence the name, it’s set up in an old house and we were sat downstairs for reference not sure what upstairs was like. But a beautiful restaurant, felt authentic. The service was great, all the servers were so friendly . Kept us up to date on the wait for food. Even the young woman at the end took the time to speak to us about our trip to Brighton. You should definitely visit here!

Very flavorful and interesting dishes. Plating was mostly basic for this style of restraunt. Wine pairing was good. Most servers were good, but descrption of each plate felt like the servers were bored and reading from a script. On a few they, spoke so fast we and other tables near us could not understand them. We were expecting a little more for £275 meal.

Perfectly adequate with signs of greatness, but in the end, sub-spectacular. The restaurant and food were slightly above average, but we found Issac to lack an ambience. The restaurant was far too bright for evening dining and the atmosphere was a bit bland. Vegetarian options were just the main tasting menu without ingredients that included meat. It lacked innovation and the veggie/pescatarian in our group felt short-changed. We’ve been wanting to go to Issac for several years and after seeing it on the Michelin guide and having tried most others we decided to give it a try. The tasting menu was nicely portioned and I am happy that I got to experience it, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back.

I visited Kindling with my girlfriend who very kindly booked a table for us. I am so happy she chose this place having visited a lot of fine-dining restaurants in Brighton. This was on par if not better than any food I’d had in this city. Every dish was utterly delightful, with such care and attention to detail which was unwavering. My girlfriend decided to request to sit at the high tables right in front of the kitchen which I’d never done before but I must say it was a fantastic decision. We got chatting to the incredibly friendly chefs about all the dishes, the produce, and their cooking methods. This added so much to the experience and they were kind enough to let us try a few little extras! Thank you so much to Toby, Holly, and Fraser for your kindness and exceptional food, and to the wonderfully friendly staff that served us. The service was just perfect - just the right amount of attentiveness whilst still letting us enjoy our company together, and they really did everything they could to ensure our experience was as special as it possibly could be. The drinks we had were also fantastic, and the choice of wines were wonderful. I honestly could not recommend this place enough and I will certainly be returning, hopefully soon! What makes it even better is that the prices are extremely reasonable for such quality, far better than some others I’ve tried. Thank you so much to all of you for creating such a special birthday dining experience.

We had brunch on a Saturday morning. Can't fault the food. I seemed to get more bacon on my plate than advertised. Staff pleasant, food didn't take long but bill was a bit slow arriving. Nice, busy, happy atmosphere. Some nice photographs on walls. Half the price of some places, for food just as good.

I came here to celebrate a birthday and we had a fantastic evening. There’s an added excitement to the fact that everyone is experiencing the same dishes at the same time. Playful, unexpected plates are paced throughout the evening - we stayed for about 3.5 hours but it felt more like 1.5! It was great that the chef came out to speak to us too and present some of the dishes. Would definitely recommend it

The Piazza is an area, along Brighton Beach where the entrance to the West Pier once stood. The area dedicated to the heritage of the West Pier, celebrating its unique personality and charm. It is host to a variety of attractions including the British Airways i360, the Upside-down House, an outdoor photographic exhibition and more. My favourite, definitely the Golden Spiral, consisting of 24 pillars from the Old Pier.
