Not only is this one of the best menus in Sydney dining, they have an incredible cellar, along with a stunning backdrop. I cannot recommend Rockpool B&G enough. Its a huge menu, however you can't really go wrong. Desserts are lacking, but the savoury menu more than makes up for that. If you go on a Friday night they serve the date tart which is exceptional.

Monopole is the perfect place to meet up with friends after work. We just love the happy hour menu and French champagne. The service is consistently excellent and we never feel rushed. Our favourite is the Sydney rock oysters and chicken liver parfait. Happy hour is available Wednesday to Friday from 4-5pm 👍

Food was fast but service could improve. Quality of foods were nice with reasonable price. Service wise, when we order, staff has no problem hearing us but when we request for extra cutlery they ignored.. I thought it was mistake but when we ordered extra dishes again they were very attentive but again we asked for some tissue and they couldn’t hear us very well and we had to ask few times. We would have ordered dessert if service was better. So we went to other shop for dessert even though we had enough time left for our reservation.

We opted for.tje premium lunch which included a choice from 2 cocktails on arrival and 2 more alcoholic drinks or bottle of wine to.share. The food did not disappoint. Each course is beautifully presented and the flavours incredible. Only marked down one point on service, as upon arrival we were shown to our table and left for quite a while before anyone came near us again. This did not ruin the overall experience, however. Definitely a meal to remember.

Loved this place! The staff are amazing. I also loved the restaurants timeless interior that overlooked the Japanese style garden - so classy. Some dishes that were a highlight for me were the oysters, the tuna, and the abalone. That truffle butter served with the bread is awesome as well! Surprisingly, I wasn't a big fan of the famous ocean trout dish, presentation was gorgeous though.

Food was not good at all, one dish tasted like pure salt, other dish tasted like pure garlic. Desert was nice. It’s obvious the DJ that night didn’t know how to mix or transition songs. The staff where extremely polite, friendly and accommodating. The interior design and lighting made up for the experience.

Great atmosphere both for business and romantic outings, but the wine service was a little pushy.. and the food was average at best. Pity, for AUD 150-200 per head. Extensive wine list though, with fair restaurant wine prices. Desserts were the best part, creative and tasty.

Absolutely a divine experience. Highly impressed with the vegetarian chefs menu. It looked identical to the main chefs menu despite 1 dish (wagyu) I had the beetroot one that looked like steak though. We shared the gantry experience matching wine and that was one of the highlight quality picked wines we've tasted. Very innovative flavours and beautiful, both menus were outstanding you don't feel like you're missing out if you're not vegetarian. Smoked tonburi is a Japanese ground caviar in the zucchini dish (video attached). That was one of the most unique and rare flavours I've never tasted before as a vegetarian. Definitely will return and recommend to family and friends.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐½ (4.5 stars) I recently dined at Quay Restaurant in Sydney and had a memorable experience. While the food was good, it didn't quite reach the level of excellence I was expecting. The standout aspect of the evening was definitely the exceptional service, which deserves high praise. We opted for the 6-course menu with the Quay pairing wine, and I must say that the wines served were delightful. Each wine was carefully selected and perfectly complemented the dishes. The sommelier's expertise was evident, and it added an extra layer of enjoyment to the overall dining experience. The service provided at Quay was truly outstanding. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and took great care in explaining each dish and its ingredients. Their attention to detail was commendable, ensuring that every guest felt well taken care of throughout the evening. From start to finish, the service was top-notch. One aspect that left me slightly disappointed was the portion sizes. They were incredibly small, even for a fine dining experience. While I understand the focus on quality over quantity, I felt that the portions could have been a bit more substantial to justify the price tag. Nevertheless, the flavors and presentation of the dishes were impressive, showcasing the culinary skills of the chefs. Quay Restaurant is undeniably on the pricier side, considering the portions you receive. However, the exceptional service and the overall dining experience make it worth a visit. If you're looking for a memorable evening with top-notch service and a good selection of wines, Quay Restaurant is a great choice.

Great selection of glasses by the wine including a beautiful Hungarian furmint. Thank you for a beautiful night. Would recommend and happy to come back.

Probably one of the best steaks I've had in Sydney. The spinalis was such a great cut and cooked to perfection. Everything about that cut was so good. Then the English roast was a great alternative to the steak. So much flavour, though its definitely a sharing piece. The burger is quite delicious, but I found the bacon better on its own thing, but the egg was great. They brought out a surprise bagel with some dips, and they were warm. The taramosalata was easy best sauce with it. We wanted something different for the entre, and the deep fried prawn heads were awesome though I can see that some people wouldn't like to eat a prawn head. Wrapped with lettuce dipped into the sauce, so good. There wasn't too much to write home about with the sides and desserts, but it was good enough for me. Enjoyable way to end the meal. The entrance can be hard to find, but its located down some steps. Highly recommend getting a booking first.

I love dumplings so much! The soup is very delicious, very similar to the beef soup in Chinese cuisine. The lamb chops are cooked just right, very tender and delicious, and the scallops are fried just right, I like it very much. The bread is okay, the service is good, the meal time is probably more than two hours, hurry up, the scenery is perfect. Very high-end restaurant, five stars.

There are some great sections, and then there are some not so much. Kids may enjoy the exhibits on space and old trams, trains. Entry is free, and there are school tours often here. Guidance on exhibits can be better, and a map with the recommended path can help. A nice experience for may be 2 hours. Interactive sections on science, space, and old steam engines will keep kids happy.

Last visited 28 December 2022 so thought I'd share a review on here. Fabulous zoo!! Far better than any zoo's in NZ. Cost is only NZ$50 (or about AU$44) and that included the gondola. Return ferry to Circular Quay - public transport is dirt cheap (Opal) compared with NZ. Bird and Seal Show is wonderful. Though the seal show line is super long, we still managed to get a seat for the first time at the front. It'll be great if this zoo could order heaps of size L t-shirts for men and a variety especially for the summer holidays. Good thing we visited before they closed the gondola for renovations. Weather was beautiful. A day trip well worth it. We'll be back in Syd end of this year (late December) for a solid 2 weeks. With plans to visit the Gold Coast for the 1st time, end of next year (end of 2024)... AL from New Zealand.

Authentic historical building. The Hyde Park Barracks is one of the oldest buildings of Sydney. When I visited the museum was free entry, not sure why the webpage says you have to buy tickets. It was first commissioned as dormitory for convicts then used as asylum for poor female immigrants. Later used as government office, now it's a museum and part of the UNESCO cultural heritage.

Fantastic spot to spend an hour or two just a stones throw from Lavender Bay and the harbour. There are a couple of entrances at the bottom of Clark Park that lead you down a few steps and into the garden. Very well set out with paths and steps and quite a few areas with garden furniture (tables and chairs) which were being used by people having a picnic lunch (great idea). Standing down in the garden it's hard to believe you're so close to the hustle and bustle of the CBD. A credit to all who played a part in creating this space and to those who continue to maintain it.

Bought Combo tickets for $75 to visit 3 attractions. The Indoor Zoo is small. It's ok for me, as I just want to meet the koala. Lucky for us, 2 of them are active and awake. Koala sleeps almost 16 to 20 hrs a day, so meeting these 2 koala made my visit worthwhile since I came all the way from Singapore. The koala enclosure is in the refreshment area. I spent 1/2hr drinking coffee and watched their playfulness. Love it.
