If it’s one thing I love, it’s Mexican food. Maya restaurant is top of the top when it comes to their food. The shrimp quesadilla was great, it says it was alittle spicy but I didn’t taste it. Their frozen margarita was good as well. I asked to make it alittle stronger and they did with out hesitation, all while keep consistency of margarita. The server I had was on point and very attentive, he had multiple tables but found a way to get everyone their dishes. The ambiance in the restaurant is nice and dim lit. But give a nice laid back vibe. The music was on point as well in background but not to high where it was drowning out peoples conversations. I liked this restaurant a lot and will definitely be back.

This place is located at Hyatt first floor. The ambient is fancy and nice. I would come here for a quick dinner, or else I would just go for some local Chinese food. What I would recommend to have the Peking duck, berry fat and juicy. The price to value for here on the expensive side. Overall I would rate this place with the following: Location: 6/10 Ambient: 8/10 Taste: 8/10 Service: 9/10 Price: 6/10

Really great experience overall. The view from the restaurant is one of the best views from the Bund, you can see East Nanjing all light up at night and it’s amazing. Food is really good, and the service was attempt and nice. Definitely a must if you are in Shanghai.

Pretty good Shanghainese cuisine. The sticky rice crab is exceptional. The fried shrimp and crab is very good too. The price is also quite reasonable considering the prime location along the bund with view. Food is 4 stars, the extra star goes to the service, which is great.

Located in a very good area Xintiandi, this restaurant is easy to find. The ambience is cozy and relaxing with a singer & band as a background music. The food is good, but I would not say excellent as this is not the best in my taste. The backribs tasted good but rather hard ro chew. The portion is just right for me, but for some people who love to eat a lot in quantity, this would be too little and expensive for the size.

Good Shanghainese dishes. Price is ok. Service is good. Interior is nice. Semi-upscale place. Food: the Shanghai hongshaorou 红烧肉 is a must - sweet and tender and melt in the mouth. Get it with the added tofu, which is superb. Other dishes were good too.

The restaurant’s decorations and atmosphere is very nice with a beautiful view outside. The food is good but I wasn’t wow on any dishes yet. The 10 of us came from the airport and almost didn’t make it at the time of reservation. They wouldn’t take us in if we were to be late. The immigration process took over 2 hours and it is why we we’re almost late. Anyway, we made it and spent a nice time here.

Small cantine often overcrowded with a waiting list. Prices are fine and not too high. As soon as the order is placed, the meals arrive quickly. The menu is in chinese and English but most of waitresses don't speak english. Be smart :) The food is yummy and especially the lemon chicken. I really appreciate this place.

A very nice location to start your evening. The outdoor seating is well appointed. The service was excellent and the food well proportioned and very tasty. The style is Western with Asian influences. The wines were reasonably priced. Like a lot of places you have to look at the buildings list of tenants to see this is on the 5th Floor.

This iconic skyscraper is a true gem in the city's skyline, and I highly recommend adding it to your itinerary. First and foremost, the views from the top are simply breathtaking. As you ascend to the observation deck, you'll be treated to panoramic vistas of Shanghai's sprawling metropolis. The sheer scale and density of the cityscape are mesmerizing, especially when viewed from such a remarkable height. The modern skyscrapers, historical landmarks, and the meandering Huangpu River create a mesmerizing tapestry that truly showcases Shanghai's vibrant energy. The architecture of the Jin Mao Tower itself is a masterpiece. The design seamlessly combines elements of traditional Chinese culture with contemporary aesthetics. Overall, the Jin Mao Tower is a must-see attraction in Shanghai. Whether you're a fan of architecture, a lover of impressive views, or simply looking to experience the city from a different perspective, this tower will not disappoint. I highly recommend allocating some time to explore this architectural marvel and soak in the awe-inspiring vistas it offers.

Jing'an Temple holds a special place in my heart every time I visit Shanghai. Despite the bustling atmosphere filled with devoted worshipers, the temple exudes a remarkable sense of reverence and spirituality. The vibrant energy surrounding the temple reflects the unwavering faith and belief in the power of prayers answered here. Jing'an Temple stands as a significant cultural and spiritual landmark, seamlessly blending tradition and contemporary life in Shanghai. The fusion of ancient architecture with the vibrant pulse of the city captures the essence of both the past and present. While the commercial aspects and the presence of vendors selling souvenirs were noticeable, they did not diminish the overall beauty and significance of Jing'an Temple. It merely served as a reminder of the temple's cultural and historical value. For those seeking a spiritual sanctuary amidst the liveliness of a vibrant neighborhood, Jing'an Temple is an absolute gem. Its rich Buddhist heritage offers a profound connection to Eastern spirituality. Visiting this temple provides a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in a space where tradition and belief harmoniously coexist with the pulse of modern Shanghai.

This is a really well kept retreat in the busy city and a perfect place to spend either a few minutes or a number of hours relaxing. There’s loads of seating and a good mix of grass areas and flower beds with a number of statues giving plenty to admire. It’s a busy area during the day and offers lots of opportunities for people watching - groups of youngsters playing card games on the paths, couples singing by the water feature, and collections of locals practising on their varying musical instruments; it’s certainly a varied mix of local culture.

The Oriental Pearl TV Tower in Shanghai offers breathtaking views, but my visit during the weekend was less than ideal. The crowd was overwhelming, and I endured a nearly 3-hour wait in the queue. Once I finally reached the observatory, my mood was dampened, and I only spent a quick 15 minutes taking in the view before heading down. I strongly recommend planning your visit during off-peak hours to fully enjoy this iconic attraction without the frustration of overcrowding.

A mix of offices and shops. Very popular observatory tower but skip that and head to Level52 to the book store! Free of charge entry and a cafe available to grab a drink to admire the view! Its abit confusing to locate the lifts but walk towards the office side and look for the lift operating to level52 only. Right outside the building is the famous spot where all the hip people are trying to take photos of all 3 tall buildings in a single shot.

Great exclusive ambience of the colonial house, service is not top stars though look and feel really five stars. The Shanghainese food with a more sophisticated presentation, taste like a real shanghai food too. Neat, Michelin quality presentation - no wonder it s recommended. I was treated by a good friend so didn’t know how much, but surely it is not cheap. A very Wonderful experience indeed.

The vinegar wonton was amazing with green sichuan pepper flakes, very aromatic yet softly spicy, not the hot and numb feeling like the normal sichuan pepper feeling in other kinds of dish. Xiao long bao, the signature, is not a big hit for me. Sorry for not being a fan of fat meaty taste, but it's a deli anyway. The skin was perfectly made to store the meat juice inside. The first bite, I poured the vinegar on the spoon and bite the sauce onto the spoon, it was too much fatty feeling for me. I manage with other bites by chewing off a piece of the skin and pour vinegar in, then bite the whole thing, it's much more better 😅😅😅 A good place to try. Price band is acceptable in such a location in Shanghai.
