Ho Chi Minh (formerly known as Saigon) is the largest city in Vietnam and the cultural, economic, and political center of the country. It is located in southern Vietnam on the banks of the Saigon River. The city was renamed after North Vietnamese leader Ho Chi Minh in 1975. It is one of the most populous cities in Southeast Asia with 8.4 million people living within its metropolitan area. Ho Chi Minh City is a major cultural hub, with several museums, galleries, and landmarks to explore. It is also home to some of Vietnam’s best food

As authentic as the food can be, though pricey, but if you can afford it, it's a nice place to enjoy good food, good company. Despite "ok" decoration, The Italy mural is amazing and informative.

Very very nice foods here. Staffs are friendly and can speak English well. We got interesting communication during our dinner. We need to make reservation in advance. It’s crowded in a silent road. Cozy atmosphere. Can chill with foods and sparkling wine.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is good and the servers are friendly. It's like a resting place in the city. It was nice to be able to taste a variety of foods as I ordered several dishes and shared them with my friends. However, the amount may be less in adult males. We ordered one menu and one drink per person and spent around VND300,000 per person.

Super cute and secret restaurant!! Have to walk pass a dark hallway then the restaurant will show up! The vibe was so cute I love it! Very chill! There has no AC so a little bit hot, still worth to try it! The food was pretty nice, I won’t recommend the mango salad, I felt it tasted like dishwasher detergent lol Others like the pork sausage, rice beef roll, shrimp were all very nice :)

We spend about 500 USD for 2 people. Spending 500 USD, we could have 2 sets of dinner and 1 set of wine pairing in the restaurant which owned 2 stars of Michelin in TAIWAN. In our opinion, the experience we have doesn’t meet the price it’s. Besides, is a cup of champagne for about 30 USD reasonable? - If you don’t want to receive the emails from the restaurant after you leave a review, you ‘d better rate them 5 stars.

My dining experience at Quince Saigon was nothing short of spectacular and this is my second time here. The restaurant's commitment to quality service, excellent food, and an inviting atmosphere is evidently clear from the moment you step through the door. The staff at Quince Saigon genuinely exemplify the term 'friendly service'. From the minute you walk in, you're greeted with warm smiles and an eagerness to ensure your dining experience is nothing short of perfect. They are attentive without being intrusive, providing recommendations when asked and always ensuring glasses were filled and needs met promptly. Stepping into the world of Quince Saigon's menu is like embarking on a culinary adventure. Every dish is beautifully presented, and the flavors are outstanding. However, the star of the show has to be their steak. The quality of the meat is top-notch, cooked to perfection, and so tender that it nearly melts in your mouth. The steak's rich, full-bodied flavor profile is a testament to the chef's expertise and the restaurant's dedication to sourcing the best ingredients. Just as impressive as the food and service is Quince Saigon's interior design. The restaurant seamlessly blends the charm of Saigon with a touch of modern elegance. The decor is tastefully done, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that complements the dining experience. It is an environment that invites conversation and lingering over your meal, making the experience feel luxuriously leisurely. Quince Saigon is a fine dining gem that successfully marries friendly service, exceptional food, particularly the steak, and a delightful interior design to create an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you are a Saigon local or a tourist exploring the city, a meal at Quince Saigon is a culinary journey you won't want to miss.

This is an excellent Vietnamese fine dining restaurant. Where the presentation is exquisite and the taste is amazing. Don't come here in any rush as there will be a wait for the desired selection as it is genuinely cooked from scratch - a good thing. There is music, good quality piano and violin when we were there. The song selection went with the restaurant quality and theme. It is very good. The location is easy to find with two or three other good restaurants nearby also. I would recommend this for business or a special occass6ion.. in fact, for just about any meal! It is great.

Went in late June 2023, the place is under heavy renovation or rebuilding, closed. The guards did not speak English and did not provide any info. No idea of re-open date or if at all. Gave 1 star not because it is bad (I couldn't get in) but because there's no sign or notice to inform visitors about the closure.

Really interesting and different museum, certainly worth venturing that little bit farther out of the city centre for. They only accept cash FYI. We were greeted and brought in for a brief screening of an introductory video and then taken around the museum by a guide who was absolutely brilliant; a great character, very informative, perfectly paced, and kept it fun and also interactive. The tour finishes with a nice cup of herbal green tea after which you're welcome to continue exploring the beautiful museum and it's artefacts in more detail. Worth also mentioning that the building itself is a work of art, highly detailed artwork throughout in traditional Vietnamese decoration which significantly added to the overall experience.

Great infrastructure overlooking the Saigon River. Quite hot in the sun - bring a hat and water bottle. No official seats with back rest. However, what seams to be never ending stone cubes that act as seating. Nice area to observe the river, watch the boats, water flowing and overlook the city. A few shaded areas or water points would be ideal.

Dam Sen Water Park in Saigon is a great place to visit with family, especially on hot days. The admission fee of around $8.50 per person is reasonable and the park has a variety of activities to offer. Our family of 5, including 2 children, had a fun time there. Although the swimsuits cost more than the admission, they were well worth it. The park has a children's play pool that is perfect for younger kids and it was one of our children's favorite attractions. The synthetic beach was also a hit and it provided a fun, beach-like experience in the middle of the city. Unfortunately, our children were not tall enough to go on all the slides, but there were still enough activities for them to enjoy. In conclusion, Dam Sen Water Park is a great option for families in Saigon. The admission fee is reasonable and there are plenty of activities for both children and adults to enjoy. While some of the attractions are not suitable for younger children, there are still plenty of options for them to have fun. I would give the park a 4-star rating and recommend it to anyone looking for a fun day out with family.

Worth a visit. The buildings themselves are quite gorgeous, and there are some beautiful art pieces. The pictures do not do them justice, you really have to see them in real life to appreciate how beautiful they are. I did feel that the rooms lacked cohesion, which could have been better explained or presented. The most interesting rooms were those either that were gifted through patronage or those from very famous artists. It could also use older art pieces (maybe to be recovered or donated?). Finally, AC or some type of way to regulate the temperature and humidity level would be great. I'm pretty sure the art on display is taking a hit over time due to poor temperature control. This museum has the potential to be so much more, and I hope to see its growth in the future.

The tallest tower in Saigon. I came for the sunset view. It was a bit clouded so couldn't really capture it. I did enjoy being high above, without all of the city noise, just seeing the city light up. It was peaceful up there. It was 240k dong to get in , which included a free water. There are a few informational panels, a small display of traditional Vietnamese women's wear, and some photo ops. Overall, it's a nice place to be for some chill observation.

Watched the ÂO show and were stunned. The opera itself is already a beautiful building that brings you back to the beginning of the last century. And the show was wonderful. A young crew that interpreted in 60 minutes typical scenes from the traditional Vietnamese to the modern Vietnamese culture with music, dance and acrobatics. We had moments of pure joy, laugh, and were amazed by this show. Our places in row A on the 1st floor were perfect. Definitely a highlight during our tour.

This is a review about both the museum and the lovely Tea Shop in its courtyard. The museum is a must see for anyone interested in the ancient cultures of Vietnam. As to the tea shop, it is the brainchild of a Saigon native French educated economist, Dan Tranh. As I expressed interest in Jasmin tea, he invited me to have some with him, from jasmine flowers harvested by him from his own garden. We chatted about his time in France, his numerous trips in Vietnam 🇻🇳 to the various tea growing regions, where artisanal methods are still used. His knowledge of tea making is vast and precise. His shop is lovely, and very inviting. It is encounters like this that make traveling such a rewarding experience! Highly recommended!

Pretty much everything you can buy elsewhere, but a fun place just to walk around and see stuff. Just be ready to bargain as most stuff seems to be marked for at least double of what you pay at a local supermarket. We tried the food but were not especially impressed. We saw cockroaches and a mouse running around, but at least we didn't experience any tummy trouble after eating there. Still I think it's one of those places you have to visit at least once.

Walking through the narrow passages gave a sense of awe and appreciation for the soldiers' courage. The site is well-preserved, with trapdoors, living areas, and hidden entrances intact.
