I absolutely loved my experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere was delightful and the food surpassed all my expectations – each dish was an exquisite masterpiece. The meat was incredibly juicy and bursting with flavor. What made it even better was the fantastic outdoor seating, accompanied by enchanting music and dazzling lights. I'm already looking forward to my next visit because this place is definitely worth trying out.

Great menu, servers need to learn customer service better (after waiting for order, was told that their juicer is broken and the order I placed can’t be made, then asked for a half half ice cream flavour and was told it is possible, then was brought two full ice creams). Also, the place is too hot to stay open indoors in this weather. Needs better cooling. Avoid in summer!

Hands down the best jordanian food restaurant in Amman! From food to service to the atmosphere and ambiance. Everything was perfect. In the two times that we went, we experienced consistent experiences both being good. I had the best hummus ever here. You have to try the ice cream with honey dessert. All the waiters and workers were extremely friendly and nice. The first time we went we didn’t know we needed to have a reservation yet they still tried to fit us in and found us a table when the restaurant was packed. Really great experience and would totally recommend and visit again no doubt!

I was bit sceptical of coming here as the restaurant has "only" four stars, but I'm glad I did. The food was very good, with an amazing and fast service and for a reasonable price. They do not have menu, so just choose something from the picture, or get the traditional hummus which is amazing here. Definitely recommend to get local food and get a taste of a local culture with it.

Salt is a high end steakhouse located in the Fairmont hotel Amman 5th circle. The food is good and very high priced. For those days when you have a good chunk of change to blow.. it's the place to go. Almost $140 for 2 burgers, soda water, Mac and cheese and some creamed spinach and a couple coffees to put you in the picture. -2 stars for the atmosphere as it is very classy but don't get fooled by the pictures. The booths and tables are very small and uncomfortable.

I LOVED THE FOOD HERE!!!! This hotel offed the best buffet food I have had in over 20 years. Some of the items I had. One was a tomato and herb soup. Yes, you can taste basil but it had some others herbs in it too. You taste the freshness of the herbs and the tomato. You can tell it was made that day and it was not from a can. Second item was alfredo pasta. It was creamy. The right balance of mushrooms. Wide pasta. So the sauce stuck to the pasta. It was AWESOME!!!

The meat is really fresh and the food is tasty. The portions are generous. Excellent service and nice place. It deserves the money you spend.

Best of the best! Everything you order here will be good that’s a guarantee. Everything comes in a very new and unique look. The levant salad was amazing! So was the beef shawarma. Their grape leave in oil were also incredible. The mtabalb was very good but I’ve had better in Jordan. The cheese rolls were also amazing. Their fresh bread is so good! The atmosphere is the best you’ll find in Amman. For dessert I highly recommend Halawat Jebin and the candy floss icecream dessert; they were beyond incredible with turkish coffee. My only comment is that the service could be faster as it took us so long for us to be able to call our server and ask for dessert.

You get in with a super welcoming lady 😀 Then chef Bilal and Rami made sure that we liked every single dish... And Mr. Badran made sure to keep us happy and the smile up... Super friendly team.. This is one of the grand restaurants in Amman that serves authentic Lebanese and Arabic cuisine in a great and relaxing atmosphere. A spacious outdoors seating area that makes it ideal for memorable summer nights. Works for family, social or even business outings. Probably one of the very few places that serves perfect mixed grill and tasty and tender grilled meat. The service was prompt and professional despite the fact that it is usually full. With an average of 20 to 25 JD per person it is one place for good value for money. Make a reservation before you go to ensure having a table to your preference.

The ambiance was elegant and sophisticated and the service was attentive and accommodating. I liked that there was a female DJ, something you don’t see very often. The food was good overall. The beef carpaccio felt a bit under seasoned in my opinion. The sea scallops were very yummy. The entrecote steak was delicious. The fish was overly buttery in my opinion.

Tourists bait restaurant. High prices for low quality. Great atmosphere and vibes but the food quality and service were mid. If you want authentic food it’s not the place to go. Wouldn’t recommend the mansaf if you don’t like the taste of unclean meat. Do not try it. Don’t. The hygiene of the place is also mid. In the summer it can be hot so be aware of that before going in for lunch. The restaurant has a lot of celebrity visits so that explains why it’s also a tourist attraction which we didn’t know of beforehand.

The place looks beautiful and gives you multiple food options of every kind. I love this place. There’s a happy hour every day and stops at 6 pm. The food is absolutely delicious. We ordered a nacho plate and a fried platter as well as bone marrow steak with 2 bears and two peach ice tea. They were all equally delicious. The prices are reasonable with the happy hour otherwise super expensive. Definitely recommended.

Amazing to experience the history of the people of Petra. It was very hot but manageable however if you can come in the cooler months it would be much better.

Another remarkable remnant of old Roman Decapolis city of Philadelphia, the Nymphaeum of Amman is the largest in the region of its kind. Even in its partial preservation state, it is larger than the public fountains in Jerash, Umm Qays (Gadara) and Petra. It was built in 191 AD next to a river that now lies under the modern road behind. It was dedicated to the water nymphs. A paved plaza was laid in front of it for public access and gatherings. Architectural decorative elements are laid around that testify of the former grandeur of the edifice. You can appreciate animal and human figures including a lion, lioness and a male bust (the head of which is displayed inside the Jordan Archaeological Museum at the Citadel). One of the small niches still have some original marble cladding next to the ground. The site was under restoration and preservation from 1993 until October 2018 when the site was reopened as the Nymphaeum Archaeological Park in Amman. There are nine informative signboards and a small 3D model of the Nymphaeum as it would have looked like in its glory days. The site metal door might be closed during business hours, but a guard is usually inside. If so, draw his attention to open it and enjoy this new renovated addition to the bustling historic center of Amman. A must see with the added bonus of being free of charge.

Free with visit Jordan Pass or Roman Theatre ticket. There are two small museums either side of the Roman theatre, reflections of the same theme. mannequins in clothing engaged in traditional, primarily bedouin or ‘country’ activities. Both are worth a look.

A wonderful place for the kids with lots of activities both indoors and outdoors. It is a very educational and mind stimulating place for the kids. It is big and you have many different areas for kids of all ages. Many hands-on exhibits and you also get to take souvenirs like bank notes and coins from ATM. We visited this place from Dubai, and this is by far one of the best museums you will get to see.

The Umayyad Palace, situated within the Amman Citadel in Jordan, is an architectural marvel dating back to the Umayyad period. Scenery is good with the city of Amman in the background. If you have a Jordan pass then entry to this place is included, otherwise you will have to pay for entering. My kids loved the fact they could walk and climb. There is a sort of museum as well which you can visit on the same site. There is a viewpoint above it but you will have to walk 10-15min for that (steep climb) and it is (left outside) around the theatre.

A very important museum with fabulous exhibits ranging from Neolithic to Umayyad periods. It’s an old museum well in need of investment and renovation but it’s art artefacts are top. Although it is a relatively small building, the museum is rich of so many artifacts from all historical epochs of human settlement in the area. They have artefacts, skeletons, pottery , statues organized in sections such as bronze age, iron age, stone age and so on. No entry fee needed. If you have entered Amman citadel, it's in the same campus. If you get tired watching, you have seats to sit down and relax. Nicely presented history of the Jordan. The exhibits are great. A lot of information in a small space.

Currently undergoing major renovations. Otherwise, always a wonderful Masjid to pray at especially that it's an important part of Amman's heritage. (It was built on the Capital's main street more than 100 years ago!)

The environment was amazing, it is located in the mountain near to shafa badran, the weather was beautiful although we went yesterday and it was very hot in the city. They have 3 tickets types, 10JD, 20JD, 30JD. The restaurant view is great, but not too many options, and prices are not reasonable. They have arch, paint ball shooting on a target, zipline, slide, climbing and other similar activities. Also they have prepared many nice spots for taking photos 📸. It is great place for a family to spend time together since they have also kids area for 10 jd for kids below 10 and free for below 3, parents pay 5jd to enter with their children. Was good experience will visit again next summer.

What a peaceful mosque, with amazing architectural design, It is not only a mosque, but it is considered a large Islamic complex that contains a museum and a school for memorizing the Qur’an in addition to a lawsuit center for introducing Islam. The place allows visiting for all Muslims and non-Muslims.

This place marks a real historical landmark in history. It is said to have been built over 2250 years ago! It is sad to see that what remains is next to nothing, but to sit down and touch the building blocks of a castle that was only put together by the rocks themselves (no cement, no adhesives, pure geometry) is quite fascinating. There are no guides, no parking placss and the way there is very rugged and weary, but it was a nice experience to check out the suburbs for a while.

Great place to check out with some real interesting history. Amazing 360 views of the city. There could be more information but the scenes are interesting and Roman columns are pretty cool to climb around. Kids loved it but it could be very dangerous if they slip.

A world cultural heritage site in the centre of Amman. An outstanding landmark of an incredible historical value built during the rule of the Roman Emperor Pius in the second century AD. A remarkable sunset. A great view from the top. Ticket costs only 3 JOD. Worth visiting!

So pleased to see the white Range Rover used in the recent royal wedding. I remember watching the parade through the streets of Amman, noting that the car was first used by Queen Elizabeth II on her visit to Jordan. The museum is excellent! What a fabulous collection of historical and wonderfully maintained and restored cars. We even got to see a Mercedes McLaren SLR Stirling Moss, which I believe is on loan. Really recommend!

An amazing historic place to visit in Amman. You will definitely enjoy it. A breathtaking view of the capital. It is quite hot in this time of year so refresh yourself with lots of water. The entrance fee is 3 JOD. If you prefer, you can easily arrange the private tour in the complex. Everything started here. I came during the day where not so many people inside, but I was advised later to come here before the sunset and enjoy it. There is an archaeological museum inside you should also check. A truly must visit place!
