This is definitely one of the better steakhouses in Vancouver. The price although can be hard to absorb for an average night out, but this is definitely worth bringing people out for a special occasion. Food quality Prime rib 9.5/10 - just didn’t like the horseradish as it’s a very odd form that I have never had before but the prime rib itself was delicious. Porterhouse steak 10/10 - this was had rare and the cut and cook of it all was done to perfection Service was friendly and attentive throughout the experience. We found the food took a bit longer then usual to come out but otherwise it was a good experience. I’d definitely recommend this place for all the meat eaters out there :)

They left quite the impression with their attention to fine detail and highly professional staff. The decor reminds me of the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. The drinks were beautifully made and tasty. We tried the Thursday Tomahawk special and loved the interactive aspect of it being torched at the table-side. Every side included with it such as the pasta, mashed potatoes, and onion rings were delicious!

If you are looking for a high-quality French restaurant, you cannot miss this one. This restaurant offers excellent service and delicious food, making your dining experience even more perfect. Here, you can taste some carefully crafted French cuisine, some of which are designed by the chef himself on the set menu. These dishes are very tasty, and every bite can make you feel the chef's heart and passion. One dish that is highly recommended is the Pacific oysters, which are fresh, delicious, and sweet, and an absolute must-try dish. In addition, the service at the restaurant is also very good, with the waiters always being very enthusiastic and attentive, making you feel at home. Overall, this restaurant is a great choice, whether you are dining with friends or sharing food with family, it is a great choice.

We recently dined at Nightingale and I must say, the service was absolutely outstanding. The staff was incredibly attentive, making sure our every need was met throughout the evening. The food was beyond excellent, with the Margherita pizza stealing the show - it was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The cocktails were also a highlight, as they were expertly crafted and incredibly refreshing. Overall, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-notch service, delicious food, and delightful cocktails.

The service was absolutely amazing. Our server and the other staff were attentive without being over bearing. They were really communicative and amazing! I loved their cocktails, their bread, the Caesar salad and their desserts. The main courses however were things you could find at any other restaurant with the same taste. The view was outstanding, and you could see the city along with the Queen Elizabeth park. They have heaters in the patio section along with blankets. The restaurant seemed catered to older persons. Main meals were priced at $20-$40.

This restaurant is perfect for a romantic date. We were lucky to sit in the courtyard on the second floor, just like having a date in a beautiful garden. As for the food, we ordered shrimp and fried cauliflower salad for appetizers, and they were both stunning. The flavors were rich and delightful. The steak and chicken for the main course maintained the high standards of a great restaurant

The food was good. And service was good. It gets very busy so book ahead. They have a great patio and some of the best seafood in town. I liked the half chicken and the tagliatelle pasta was excellent. The chocolate brownie dessert was great. The hummus was also really good but the hummus to pita ratio was low. Not enough pita. But we asked for more. They also have a great kids menu. Good value.

Wow... Wow... Wow... bite after bite was a sublime experience in what Japanese fine dining can be. Miku is a five star experience that deserves your visit. The modern restaurant is beautiful, clean, and perfectly maintained. We recommend sitting on the patio where you can either people watch or gaze over the harbour. Inside tables offer window views or a view of the open kitchen. It's all beautiful and adds to the experience. Service is professional, friendly, and gracious. We followed our server's recommendations and that was the right choice. A team of people keeps the meal moving along and provides explanations of what you are eating. However, the food is the star here and that is how it should be. The flavors are carefully paired here and you will want to give those flavors a chance to delight your palette. This is NOT sushi to be dunked in soya sauce. I think you will also be delighted by how their cocktails complement the food choices. Put Miku on your "special meal out" list and make an evening of it. This is one of Vancouver's dining gems and certainly the best Japanese cuisine I have eaten. I think you will agree.

Dined solo to kick off my last week in Vancouver on this trip. Focusing on locally sourced ingredients, the solo menu is comprised 5 courses. At only $74, it’s an incredible value. The menu has pun names which I absolutely adored; Sashimi Not, Zucc I am Your Father, Trout Krout Sprout, of Bison Men, and Le Big Mack. My favourite bites were the zucchini two ways, the trout (minus the brussels) and the King Salmon sashimi. The bison was very well cooked and the spinach was delicious but the potato was lacklustre. Along with the meal, the bar manager made me a beverage pairing which had cocktails and glasses of wine based on my preference. The final digestif had pickled spruce tips stuffed in an olive. There were a number of other dishes on the menu which caught my eye. I definitely will have to come back the next time I am in town.

Went for dinner last night and was absolutely blown away by the service. While the food was amazing, the service was incomparable! My friends and I had the pleasure of dining with Tara and her colleagues and this was by far my best dining experience in the city (and I'm a local)! Tara was knowledgeable, attentive and just a pleasure to be around. From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted and never once did we have to try and seek her attention as she was always checking in. Any time someone left the table, her and her team were quick ensure settings and napkins remained tidy and presentable upon our arrival back. Tara explained the menu in detail and was quick to recommend food and beverage pairings that we were all pleased with. The food was beautifully presented, tasted great and everyone was satisfied. While I don't have photos of everything we ordered, the raw oysters were fresh and sweet, prawns were plump and juicy, and sashimi was fresh and paired with an in house soy sauce. I ordered the beef tenderloin and asked for it to be cooked between medium rare and rare and it was cooked to perfection. It was tender, seared crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. I also ordered the truffle fries as a side and will say you have to try them! Tara is a gem and I want to thank her and the staff for creating such a welcoming atmosphere that was paired with amazing food! I don't know how it took me so long to come here but can definitely say I will be back. Make your reservation now and thank me later!

We started with a selection of raw oysters, which were all very fresh and had a wide range of flavors from the East and West Coasts. The West Coast platter was a bit of a disappointment, however. The seafood was not as fresh as I expected, especially the lobster and crab, which were both lacking in sweetness. The bone-in ribeye steak was cooked perfectly to medium rare and was very flavorful. The pistachio ice cream for dessert was icy, but it had a rich, nutty taste. The service was excellent, our server was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Overall, we had a very good dining experience, but I would have liked the seafood to be fresher.

Absolutely phenomenal food and service every time! I recently celebrated a birthday here and brought my own cake. The hostess advised that there would be a plating fee of $4.50 per person. Fair enough, it is a hassle for the restaurant to deal with this. They plated the cake and used piping to decorate the plates with chocolate and caramel swirls. They also garnished the plate with mint and whipped cream! Wow! So impressed. The food of course was fantastic.

The portion size is too small and the tasting menu was somewhat mediocre to the price that it was demanding. The presentation was good, for course but the flavors were boring. To be honest the last portion of the course ( desserts) really saved the overall experience. The service for the speed of the tasting menu was quite slow.

Amazing food and service. Our waiter Brendan was great and guided us in our dining/drinking adventure. As there were so many amazing options on the menu we decided to go with A La Carte in order to try more of the menu since we are from out of town. Everything tasted amazing and they even split some of the dishes for us in order to make it easier to eat. I could recommend everything that we ate. Drinks also did not disappoint, very tasty and unique. I think this was my favourite restaurant of this trip and we went to quick a few nice restaurant (including a Michelin star restaurant). Enjoyed a very quiet Sunday afternoon here with my kids! Admission is quite pricey for what you’re getting but it’s quieter and more enjoyable than the overcrowded Science World. We did happen to arrive just in time for the show and demonstration (11:00am). Presenters at the demonstration and show came off a little dry (material may be too difficult for small children to understand or stay engaged with) but all in all a nice place to spend a couple of hours.

Chinatown is a national historic place to visit. I loved the millennium gate which is an amazing art structure. This gate commemorates the history of the Chinese community in Vancouver. The buildings are old but has beautiful architecture that dates back 1889, 1909 and 1921. For traditional Chinese food craving, there is the New Town Bakery and Jade Dynasty Restaurant, both are Hongkong style cafe serving delicious food. After lunch, I walked to explore the place but got the chills when strangers follow begging for money and felt unsafe. Decides to leave soon.

My visit here was quite disappointing. The staff was really strict, and I accidentally brought food since I didn't see a notice about it. The lady at the booth acted like I couldn't read, which was pretty embarrassing. I don't understand why they can't be nicer about it. The garden costs $16 for adults, but there's also a free section that I actually liked more. Overall, because of the not-so-great experience and the nicer free area, I don't think I'll be coming back here.

The Drop is an interesting piece of metal sculpture set at the corner of the iconic Canada Place in Downtown Vancouver. It is about 20 meters high and is in the shape of a slanting water or rain drop falling on the earth. It is supposed to signify a homage to the power of nature and represents the and outlook towards the waters that surrounds the city of Vancouver. The steel sculpture is bright blue in color as it is covered by blue polyurethane. It complements the fascinating and interesting sights around the waterfront of the sea planes taking off or landing, and the small boats and large ships moving about in the Burrard Inlet.

Still a bit pricey for what you are getting... But if you get there early and hustle you can definitely ride pretty much everything, maybe even twice. Highly recommend that children under 56 inches not go, there are very limited rides for younger children and at this price point you would be better off waiting for the west coast amusement to roll through town. Food is actually not terribly priced. Most food items are going to cost you about $12.00. Drinks are $5.00. A decent selection of foods. The midway has increased from the $5.00 I remember to now being $7.00 per punt. Not aweful, but gets pricey FAST. Plenty of shady spots to tuck away into and they also put out giant fans with misting water to cool you throughout the park.

Very beautiful and fun to explore! Not as busy as some of the other gardens in B. C, so more peaceful and serene. The entry price was great too, it was around $25 for 2 adults. What would have made it better would be if there were more signs telling you where you were throughout. I think we only saw 2 the whole time and my partner and I did a lot of backtracking etc to try and see it all, and even then I think we missed a couple areas because lack of signage. Would probably go back though if looking for something to do and was in the area!

We like walking our dog to the dog park at Queen Elizabeth Park, especially on sunny days. Our dog is always happy, smiling, cannot stop wagging his tail whenever we bring him to the park, cause he knows he can run around on the grass, very spacious, and play with other dogs. The park is big and beautiful, a bit hilly at some parts, a lot of trees and flowers, including cherry blossoms in spring time. We celebrated our daughter's birthday in Seasons in the Park last year, a nice fine dining restaurant inside the park. It's nice because we live nearby about 10 minutes of walking, so whenever we need some fresh air or need to be in a spacious open place, we can always come to the park, just to sit under a big tree, picnic, nice place for reading, playing with dog, walking, cycling, jogging, breathing... 😊

Great experience and suprisingly friendly people. Tickets aren't overpriced at all and you can buy them there or ahead of time. Makes no difference. There are staff who direct you before you up who are very friendly and would help with anything. After buying tickets it's a quick elevator ride to the top. It's not as tall as many other observation towers but that doesn't make it any less significant. There are wonderful panoramic views of the city as well as several plaques providing information about landmarks in the city. They also have a self guided audio tour for anyone who may want to do that. I highly recommend you visit while in Vancouver.

Wow, this place in amazing. It says online that you will take about 90 minutes - 2 hours to see everything but it will take you at least 3 hours and you will enjoy every second of it. They have daily attractions such as snake display, feeding and training seals and sea lions, 4D Cinema, a Wet Lab and others you don't want to miss. The aquariums and other animal displays are made with such attention to detail you really feel like you're inside it. Some have water until eye level and then what would the habitat look like not just under but above water level too. Beautiful! The staff is very skillful and helpful, and they will kindly answer your questions when you ask. It is a very clean environment and even being full of animals, it doesn't smell like. Everything is impeccable. For kids: it is a really nice place to take kids of all ages, they seem to be almost hypnotized by the animals and there are some very cool and simple explanations in every display, so they can read for themselves, learn and don't have to ask you every single thing. It is a highly recommended tour whether you're a tourist in Vancouver or if you live in Vancouver. Do not miss it, you won't regret it.
