Definitely lives up to a lot of the aspects you’d expect from a 3 star restaurant. Service was phenomenal from start to finish alongside the drinks and atmosphere. The food was fantastic of course, the supplements were fantastic. But a small handful of dishes seemed to be their own iteration of some main ingredients that have been appearing repeatedly across restaurants in New York, and took away some of the wow factor of their menu as a whole.

Had my birthday lunch at the kitchen table with a friend and it was one of the most fun dining experiences we’ve ever had. Each dish was outstanding and was served by one of the chefs who prepared it, all of whom were warm and eager to talk to us about the kitchen, their process, and what we were up to. It’s also the most expensive meal I’ve ever had. Like wow pricey, but hey, it’s a once in a long time thing and this was our pick for a Michelin Star restaurant experience during our visit to the city. We’re happy we picked The Modern, it was worth it.

Riverpark is such a great place to have a relaxing meal with right by the East River. We chose to sit outside and everything was delicious, light and fresh - lunch with some cold sangria and a beautiful river view with a cool breeze. The wait staff are friendly and super attentive (it's another super hot & humid day in NYC), they came by frequently to see if we needed anything and definitely took the time to make sure we stayed hydrated. I now know why Riverpark is a family favorite!

Family Meal at Blue Hill is a unique, fun and tasty place. Dinner is a menu-less experience that is in the spirit of a restaurant's family meal. The dishes are all made with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, and the focus is on vegetables and grains, with meats playing a supporting role. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special dining experience.

Amazing views from the 9th floor of the Design and Art Museum located at Columbus Circle. Unfortunately the unattractive Trump Tower is dead center but other than that the views are spectacular. Inside this boutique style restaurant there are several art pieces to view. The customer service was nice, dining alone can be awkward sometimes depending on where you sit. I loved my corner table against the window over looking Columbus Circle and Central Park. I ordered the watermelon Gazpacho and Yucca Fries. Both were delicious and I highly recommended them. Perfect appetizer on a hot summer day. I ordered a pink grapefruit beverage that had a fancy name, expecting something special but it was only pink grapefruit sparkling water. It was refreshing just not what I thought I was getting. If you are visiting this area, especially the museum which I thoroughly enjoyed I would suggest popping in they had a lunch special that looked amazing and seemed to be a good deal. The menu is not extensive but has something for everyone. The desert menu looks delightful and I was fortunate enough to be able to taste a few things and the coconut Truffle is definitely a yes!

Le Coucou is a 1 Star Michelin Restaurant on Lafayette street serving classical French dishes. Dishes are perfectly cooked, highlighting strong technical skills and flavors are delicious, rich and heavy. Restaurant is in a cozy, beautifully lit space and is perfect for a special meal or date. Service could benefit from a bit more warmth, but is otherwise professional and efficient.

Enjoyed the tasting menu during lunch. Every single course was great- my favorites were the ebelskiver, lamb, and caviar with custard. 4 apps, 5 entrees, and 3 dessert courses. Loved that there were multiple dessert courses. Very intimate setting with a chef's counter and 1 table (16 seats?). No menu beforehand, but gave us copies to take home at the end.

What a special place! I am not sure where to start but you can’t go wrong with the food. At all. Across the board. The wait staff can guide you if you aren’t commanding on your own. Signature: steak! Garlic bread! Fava bean salad, ramps, hens of the wood, and the extras -/ vesper, vino, dessert!!!! The place: beet graffiti, and plants cared for deeply. Both bars :) and all the little corner photo ops. The people — collaborating proudly to deliver the finest the village has to offer. Lovely romantic neighborhood vibe.

Jawohl! What a fantastic find! This little place might be my new favorite German/Austrian spot in NYC! A cozy nook near Wall St, it's more upscale and less traditional than your typical schnitzel eatery. Instead, this place shines when it comes to the menu. While limited, it lists the standard Wienerschnitzel and a veggie Spätzle, as well as many other non-traditional Austrian options, including a lot of vegetarian-friendly dishes. Everything was fantastisch. The schnitzel (I got the chicken) was fried to perfection and the Green Tomatoes were spectacular, along with all of the (cucumber salad and potato salad) sides, which were great variations on the theme. They were very accommodating and helpful in ordering and the service was super friendly throughout our meal. I was stuffed after the main course (the schnitzel is huge!) but it was so delicious that I couldn't say no to dessert. They had Apfel- (apples) and Topfen- (cheese) streudel so I opted for the cheese. It was, kein Witz, the *best* streudel I've ever had. Seriously. With a side of ice cream and Sahne, on a plate of vanilla cream, and topped with strawberries, I involuntarily smiled with every bite. GET DESSERT. My only regret is that I've only just discovered this Austrian gem after living in NYC for so long. We'll definitely be planning some return visits, even if just for some small bites. Hope to see you there! Guten Appetit!

My wife and I had the pleasure of enjoying our baby-moon dinner at Frevo. The seating around the kitchen created an inviting atmosphere where the chefs became performers. Each dish presented itself as a masterpiece, meticulously crafted with artistic flair. The attention to detail in both presentation and taste was exceptional. It was a culinary experience that left us in awe, the perfect blend of intimacy, artistry, and romance. I can't wait to return for another extraordinary evening.

Went here and did the 8 course chefs tasting menu. With two bonus courses! A 10 course meal is just…..something else. This was my first experience with a Michelin star restaurant and I was blown away. The quality of the food, presence, engagement, and attention to detail of the staff set a new standard for me for what is possible in a restaurant. I was impressed by the way they were able to serve delicate flavors with nuance to highlight the natural attributes of the seafood without overpowering it. A really cool experience. And the desserts were incredible. The bread was even awesome. I hope to be back!

The Jaune Quick to See Smith exhibit was massive, beautiful and very moving. She’s so prolific and talented. Her work makes you think. There were also many other well-known American artists on display. It was nice and cool in there, too! No line whatsoever at Thursday mid-day. Helpful staff. Buy an e-ticket online in advance from their website and get scanned in. Walk over to Tea & Sympathy afterward for authentic English tea and cakes (or lunch or dinner) - an institution in the neighborhood since the 1990s.

The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum left me utterly amazed and inspired. From the moment I set foot on the aircraft carrier, I was immersed in a world of history and innovation. The vast array of aircraft on the flight deck, including the legendary Concorde and the space shuttle Enterprise, left me in awe of human achievement. The interactive exhibits inside the hangar deck brought to life the stories of the brave individuals who served aboard this floating museum. From navigating a submarine to experiencing a flight simulator, every corner offered a hands-on adventure. The highlight was definitely walking through the space shuttle pavilion and realizing the magnitude of space exploration. This museum isn't just about artifacts; it's about the spirit of exploration and the determination to push boundaries. An absolute must-visit for history buffs, aviation enthusiasts, and anyone curious about our journey into the skies and beyond.

Have been to all the Observatories in New York City and in my opinion this is THE best!! Our experience was just amazing. The views are spectacular, perfect time to go during sunset! We were lucky to witness a gorgeous sunset as well as a full moon! The rooms are very well designed. The glass of this observatory is awesome, the photos come out amazing. We went on a weekend, there was a little bit of line to get to the elevator but that's totally understandable! It is totally worth the money! And if you are a photographer you will be not be disappointed with the shots from here. Everyone is given a shoe cover before going into the elevator. There is water fountain and restrooms at every floor. Overall, a must visit if you are in NYC and if you have to visit just one observatory, will suggest to go to this one.

Learning how others (immigrants) lived in the city long ago and what their lives were like then is very educational! You are immersed in the apartments inside tenements, so you have a great idea of what the living conditions were like. It seems as though the tours are a little hurried as they renovate the other building. The first time we did a tour, about five years ago, much more time was spent telling the stories and was a lot more interactive with an interactive room at the end. Still, it's very eye opening and a very good place to visit and tour! Go!

Visiting the 9/11 Memorial & Museum was a deeply moving experience that left a profound impact on my heart and soul. The memorial stands as a testament to the strength, resilience, and unity of the human spirit in the face of unimaginable tragedy. From start to finish, this poignant tribute provided a space for remembrance, reflection, and honoring the lives lost on September 11, 2001. The memorial itself, with its twin reflecting pools where the Twin Towers once stood, is a solemn and beautiful tribute. The design allows visitors to pause and pay their respects, surrounded by the names of the victims etched into the bronze parapets. It's a place of tranquility and contemplation, encouraging visitors to remember the lives lost and the collective strength we found in the aftermath. I would strongly recommend allocating enough time for your visit, as there is an abundance of information to absorb and reflect upon. The 9/11 Memorial & Museum is a place that every visitor to New York City should experience. It served as a poignant reminder of the fragility of life and the strength of the human spirit. Prepare to be moved, inspired, and forever changed by this unforgettable tribute to those who perished and those who bravely responded on that tragic day.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting One World Observatory, located on the 100th floor of the One World Trade Center, and I must say it was an incredible experience. The panoramic view of New York City from that height is simply breathtaking. One of the standout features of my visit was the video presentation and historical overview that played inside the elevator as we ascended. It was a fantastic way to learn about the significance of the building and its place in the city's history. Although the elevator get quite crowded, would be nice if purchasing the upgrade tickets allowed me to enjoy the presentation to its fullest. Once I reached the observation deck, the view was absolutely mesmerizing. The sprawling skyline, iconic landmarks, and the Hudson River flowing in the distance created an awe-inspiring scene. The observatory offers 360-degree views, allowing you to see the city from every angle. The staff at One World Observatory were welcoming and attentive, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable visit. The observatory itself is well-maintained, with ample seating and informative displays that provide additional context about the sights you're seeing. I highly recommend visiting One World Observatory for anyone looking to see New York City from a truly unique vantage point. It offers a remarkable blend of stunning views, educational content, and a sense of the city's grandeur. It's an experience that's sure to leave a lasting impression.
